ARUMC Church & Society Book Talk
ARUMC Church and Society Book Talk will be held on Zoom on Thursday, January 23, at 7 p.m. for a discussion of Katharine Hayhoe's book Saving Us: A Climate Scientist's Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided Word. A Canadian climate scientist living in Texas, Hayoe negotiates distrust of data, indifference to imminent threats, and resistance to proposed solutions with ease. Over the past 15 years Hayhoe has found that the most important thing we can do to address climate change is talk about it—and she wants to teach you how. Register using the QR code, or contact Rev. Betsy for more information.
